Industrial Designer / Digital Artist

Description

This is a junior position that will be involved in a variety of functions including mechanical engineering and programming for components in steel, aluminum and wood, project management for bills of materials and supervision of installations (some travel involved), computer production of digital images and as a customer service representative. This position will be subject to training by NLnovalink Based in Mississauga and reporting to the Product Manager, the right candidate must have: · Post secondary education at a suitable 'college or university' in a minimum 3 year program for industrial design · A solid aptitude for mechanical design with good grades re mathematics, design geometry and solid modeling software (Pro-E or equivalent) · A flair for graphic design and a demonstrated skill set for digital image production (Pro-E Rendering or equivalent) · A diligent and professional disposition re finished work, organization and personal presentation · Excellent English language communication skills · A portfolio of work samples and current references. This is a permanent fulltime position. Must have a valid Ontario driver's license and passport. Successful results will open the way to advancement.
