Carpenter

This program will train you to construct, erect and repair residential, commercial and institutional building structures made of wood and other materials; work on heavy duty construction projects such as bridges, dams, highways, and manufacturing plants; and renovate and maintain these structures.

The first class of carpenter apprentices started at NAIT in January 1963. NAIT has 4 fully equipped shops dedicated to carpenter apprenticeship training, and trains 900 apprentices each year.
